How much money does it take to make a movie? Ask an independent filmmaker and he might answer in the thousands at least. Ask a big-time Hollywood producer and he or she might give a figure with lots of zeroes behind it....
Does money really matter when it comes to making movies? Are sky-high budgets a guarantee for higher box-office figures? We won’t really know until all ticket sales are in. What we do know is that the producers of the following films really spared no expense to get to them onto the bigscreen this year.
White House Down: $150 Million
What if terrorists decided to strike the most secure heart of America itself? Billy Crystal voices the big, blue and lovable Mike while John Goodman voices the introvert yet no-nonsense Sully in this Pixar imagining of how college life would be like in the world of monsters.
