The Richest Pets In The World

The Richest Pets In The World
You will find it hard to believe that there are a good number of animals that are depressingly better off than you and half of the world’s population will ever be.....
Here’s a look at ten of the world’s richest pets, including Betty White’s Pontiac and Gunther who is now the proud owner of Madonna’s Miami estate

 10. Tinker

10
Tinker was eight years old when she met her loving owner, the late Margaret Layne. The elderly woman had no children and her estate was roughly valued at £586,000. When she passed away, the feline’s loyalty was surely well repaid, as her neighbors discovered that the stray cat has been left a large house in north London and a £100,000 trust fund. She chose her neighbors Ann and Eugene Wheatley as her trustees and they have been designated to take care of Tinker since. They’ve also decided to bless Tinker with some company by allowing their own two cats, Lucy and Stardust, to move in with Tinker.

9. Trouble

9
When socialite Leona Hemsley died, Trouble caused nothing but trouble. Hemsley’s family contested her will in court to stop her dog from picking up $12 million of her fortune. Her grandchildren were concerned that the decision had been made out of poor judgment caused by her mental health problems.
With this handsome sum of money, she must have known that giving all her money to Trouble would cause the least trouble and fighting in her family. The judge later on ruled that the beloved dog would only receive $2 million. Before Trouble died last year, there were many threats to kidnap him, leading to the hiring of Trouble’s full-time security guard.

8. Frankie, Ani and Pepe

8
A mystery benefactor had left £9million to a lucky neighbor Lenise Patrick to take care of his dog and two cats. These overnight millionaires live happily together in a £10million home in San Diego and receive an annual trust fund of £100,000. Patrick lives next door to make sure that they have everything they need.

7. Pontiac

7
At 90, actress Betty White is still thriving. When she is not busy shooting her TV sitcom Hot in Cleveland, she’s taking it lightly at her Los Angeles home with her beloved Golden Retriever called Pontiac. This lucky mutt is set for life. White set up a $5 million trust fund to care for Pontiac and her other pets.

6. Gigoo

6
This just goes to show that a pet need not be a cat or a dog to be part of the world’s richest pets’ circle. This hen has a $10 million net worth, thanks to his publishing mogul owner Miles Blackwell. He and his wife Briony took great care of their inheritance and have decided to pass it on to their feathered friend who they lovingly consider their child.

5. Tommaso

5
The late Maria Assunta rescued this 4-year-old stray cat from the streets of Rome. The wealthy, childless widow of the Italian property tycoon took great care of this beautiful black feline with all her heart and obscenely large amount of money. When she died in December 2011, she transferred her $13 million net worth to Tommaso including all her cash and real estate in Rome, Milan and Calabria, Italy. She even asked her lawyers to identify an animal welfare association or group to which to leave the estate and the commitment of looking after Tommaso.

4. Blackie

4
Claimed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the richest cat in the world, Blackie inherited $25 million from rich recluse Ben Rea. He must have been very special to his owner, as he received everything Rea had owned. With that amount of money, his furry friend would be kitted out in the finest collars for the rest of his life.

3. Kalu

3
Patricia O’Neill, daughter of the Countess of Kenmore and Olympic champion swimmer Frank O’Neill, rescued a traumatized Kalu who was tied to a tree in Zaire. After that life-changing encounter, Kalu now lives on her owner’s estate in South Africa, owns another mansion and farm in Australia and was set to inherit another $90 million. It was later on discovered that Patricia had entitled Kalu to receive all her wealth, as she wanted to spite her husband and make sure he doesn’t get a single cent from her fortune.

2. Toby Rimes

2
There is not much to say about this canine, except that she is now $92 million richer than the rest of us. The beautiful poodle was clearly adored and loved by her owner, Ella Wendel, who died in New York City.

1. Gunther IV

1
When German Countess Karlotta Lieberstein died, she left $372 million to Gunther III. After Gunther III passed away, the money was transferred to his son Gunther IV.
Gunther IV is the world’s richest pet with several properties in his name including Madonna’s former Miami mansion and a villa in the Bahamas complete with topnotch butler services. Gunther IV lives an extravagant lifestyle and has recently developed a taste for white truffles. He also dines on caviar and steak daily.
